THIS ~ is my friend Nancy who passed last year..

I spent the weekend in the Bay area at her birthday party celebrating her life..
I miss her.

THAT ~ We all had a fabulous time toasting her & sharing funny stories..
I miss her quirkiness.

THIS ~ I got to hang out with a couple of friends I haven’t seen in 25 years..
seriously..there’s never a good excuse to let 25 years pass by without a phone call, text or visit
do it today


THAT ~ I made 2 new wild & crazy friends.

THIS ~ Had lunch at The Madonna Inn on the way up.
Super awesome place, you must stop by if you ever have the chance..

THAT ~ I’ve had a headache since Monday, I think I have a sinus infection & I don’t want a sinus infection cause I’m getting all my vintage (I was going to say old but went with vintage instead) fabric from the attic so I can start sewing my very own designer baby clothes & I am way too busy to get/be sick…

THIS ~ I have a book club meeting in one week & I have not even started the book..
BUT..
I have watched at least 20 hours of Pretty Little Liars this past week..
I’m hooked.

THAT ~ My purple sunflower popped while I was away..

which would have been amazing if..
they were front row seats..
or..I was 6'4.

THAT-B ~ was excited when I heard Alanis Morissette was opening for MBT..
she was awful..

THIS ~ is my favorite MBT song..



THAT ~ but..my favorite concert EVER..

the concert was absolutely awesome..
best ever!!

I've been looking for one & this one suddenly appeared..

I've already read 4 of the books on this year's list..

kind of..
slide by & meet some new ladies..
is that...cheating?

This 'n That Thursday

THIS ~ Had an amazing day yesterday. Lunch with a bestie from high school, chats with my daughter on the phone and wine with my oldest and his girlfriend while he cooked a yummy, healthy dinner.

THAT ~ Still not good at this whole self-portrait thing.

THIS ~ Remember how cool those stick-on photo albums were in the 90s? Yeah..well..not so cool now 20 years later when 'm trying to get those photos unstuck.

THIS ~ The black booties I ordered finally came... but in the wrong size. Now I have to go through the whole return process which is nowhere near as fun as the ordering & receiving part. Damn it!

THAT ~ Although I finally got around to picking up a few pieces of cold weather clothing, I am so over this chill & wishing for the wonderful SoCal 70 degree weather. Please.
