I've definitely been a tad MIA lately..
lots going on..
plus..
I've been doing a lot of thinking..
trying to find my online niche..
as much as I enjoy reading the blogs I've found..
we don't share the same..
mindset??
we're just not in the same place..
let's face it..
at 56 years old..
I make two 23 year olds..
I've been a newlywed..
(seriously..I can't wait to read some of your blogs in 30 years)
I've been pregnant..
(3 wonderful times)
I've weaned..potty-trained..room-mothered..birthday-partied..soccer-coached..
well..you get the idea..
as fun & interesting as these blogs are to read..
I don't fit..
so..
I've been trying to figure out what I want my blog to say..
what voice to use..
where do I belong?
I haven't found it yet..
but I will..
eventually..
someday..
until then..
I'll be around..
here & there..
trying this on..
& a bit of that..
looking for my fit.
As for now..
I'm linking up with Kim Klassen's for Texture Tuesday
because I love photography..
& I love her textures..
& her blog..
& her art..
& so many other things about her.
so..
using her textures..
& her theme for today..
Love..
I took this photo of my gorgeous daughter & her handsome hubby on their wedding day..
(that's her MOH's cute face peeking through)..
cropped it & added a few textures to turn it into this..
Used kk_return & kk-paperstainedmusic
sweet and lovely
ReplyDeleteSweet sweet photo and love the way you did the crop and texture of their hands.
ReplyDeleteI so relate to your blurb up top there. I'm 55. You'll find your niche and be happy with it!
Darn blogger......have to log in with Google. LOL

Really sweet take on the LOVE theme!
ReplyDeleteJust wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about trying to find your blog voice. I'm not a mom, I'm not a newly wed, I don't craft, I cook but that's totally my own thing, I fail miserably at organizing and I was afraid of becoming just another expat/travel blog. Good luck.
I'm right there with you, soccer coach and all! Just keep doing the things you love doing and keep speaking from your he*Art! Wonderful cropping and photo processing! Congratulations on your beautiful daughter's wedding! Visiting from TT!
